History has been made once again by Hip-Hop Artist and Mogul Snoop Dogg, with the first ever music video made inside the Metaverse. For those who are new to the metaverse, it’s basically a virtual world where users (using a digital avatar) can tap in with either a VR Headset or their computer device. In the metaverse, you have the ability to buy, sell, and create digital assets such as land, houses, cars, buildings, and much more.
In December 2021, Snoop Dogg made history when he became one of the largest owners of land in the metaverse application called The Sandbox. He paid a whopping $450,000. As the popularity of the metaverse, NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and web 3.0 continues to grow, more people will want to join in on the excitement and curiosity of the new virtual world and the endless possibilities it has to offer.
